Church Building on Bradford and Chapman is completed & dedicated.
1930
Charles Fuller begins an evangelistic radio program called the "Old Fashioned Revival Hour."
1933
Pastor Fuller decides to step out of his role as pastor of Calvary to give more time to his internationally known radio ministry.
1948
Chester J. Padgett becomes Senior Pastor. Padgett is a gifted communicator with strong people skills. The church reaches an average attenance of about 500.
1957
Pastor Padgett resigns as Senior PastorSeveral men fill the pulpit of Calvary including a couple of short-term pastorates. BIOLA College faculty often fill the pulpit to provide good Bible instruction even when Calvary is without a pastor.
1964
John Tebay becomes Senior Pastor, beginning a relationship with Calvary that lasts more than 40 years. Pastor John's leadership and vision carry Calvary through a variety of significant changes.
1988
Calvary becomes part of the Evangelical Free Church of America denomination.
2005
Leadership determines that Calvary should explore moving to a new location to meet growing ministry needs.
2006
John Tebay retires after 42 years of faithful service at Calvary, passing the baton to his son, David. Pastor Dave is a gifted teacher and is passionate about equipping families with godly parenting skills.
2007
Calvary sells its building of 83 years to Orange Central Korean Seventh-Day Adventist Church and continues its search for a new location.
2010
Calvary Church purchases a new location at 603 S. Valencia Avenue in Brea.
2011
In January, offices, small group meetings, and youth groups moved to our new location. Beginning in September, worship services are being held at 603 S. Valencia Avenue in Brea,
