What type of church is Calvary Community Church?
We are a multi-generational, family-friendly church that has been serving the North Orange County area for over eighty-five years. We have been part of the Evangelical Free Church of America since 1988. We believe that the Word of God is as relevant today as it has ever been and we seek to apply it to our daily lives.
How do I get to Calvary?
We are located at 603 S. Valencia in Brea.
When are your services?
Our services are at 8:15 and 10:45 am on Sunday mornings. We also have a fellowship time from 9:30-10:40 am.
How long are your services?
Services are approximately 75 minutes in length.
What is the music like?
Sunday mornings typically include a mix of uptempo songs of celebration with guitars, drums, etc., as well as more reflective, intimate songs of prayer, confession, and adoration. Stylistically, we lean toward a "modern worship" style, integrating current worship music with new arrangements of tireless hymns.
What is the message like?
Every week, you will hear a straightforward, Bible-based message that applies to your everyday life. This is meant to encourage you and challenge you to live out your faith as you draw closer to Jesus.
What should I wear?
You will find that some of our people dress up, but most tend to dress casually. You'll see jeans, ties, and everything in between. We are far more interested in getting to know you than we are in what you're wearing.
Do you have programming for children?
Yes we do! Our caring staff will be glad to assist you in checking your child in to his/her age-appropriate class downstairs.

How often do you serve communion?
We currently serve communion the last Sunday of every odd-numbered month.
